For my Mother's 80th birthday

Verse 1

Lord, I need a song in my heart today,
Lord, I need Your hand to guide my way
A child lies sick in a bed in Austin,
So I travel a road I've been on often.
I wake up in a motel where I've stayed before,
I see clouds and rain ahead, looking out the door.
So I close the door again and kneel and pray,
"Lord, I need Your strength for this rainy day."
I start out in the car and the road's the same,
I travel for awhile and I speak Your name.
