- EMPTY AIR - Another of the songs from my long commuting time in Houston. Words and chords originally from 2009, but just now notated. The score is posted at MuseScore.com/jbclifton (Key of D, 6/8, 98 bpm). The PDF of the score, lead sheet, and chord sheet (1 file) is available for a time here. I have an old audio recording (may not quite match how the score ended up) on Reverbnation.com/jbclifton or this website.
- BIG OLD LONG BUICK - The idea, but not the details of the song, came from a neighbor's car that actually did sit in their drive for a good while before being towed off to the repair shop. Also originally from 2002, another one I just got around to writing out. The score is posted at MuseScore.com/jbclifton (Key of Cm, 4/4, 116 bpm). A PDF of the score, lead sheet, and chord sheet (1 file) is available for a time here.
- TROPICAL BREEZES - This is a simple little song that's one of my favorite secular songs I've written - an old sailor sets out on what is likely his final voyage. Originally from 2002, but I just got around to writing it out. The score is posted at MuseScore.com/jbclifton (Key of B, 3/4, 132 bpm).
